My first ever trip overseas was, in my opinion, a love/hate affair. Taiwan as a country is very beautiful, but I wished I had more freedom in this trip rather than get dragged around from one place to another without a bloody clue. For future references, I am sticking to staying within the cities and going with a few close friends (or girlfriend, whichever comes first ^^;) APRIL 20 The trip got off to a bad start, the flight was smooth overall, but we arrived too early. I can barely contain my happiness as I write this journal entry. Wait for it ... I am going to DigiPen this September!!! I have been given the offer earlier today! This is really a dream come true for me. After three whole years of average luck, I have really hit the jackpot this time! Really looking forward to starting classes at DigiPen this September. Hi everyone. Just a quick journal update to show that I am not dead as some people might think. Besides rotting at home (almost literally) for the past few months, I also have to return for remedial training, simply because I failed my fitness test (known as IPPT here in Singapore). I have applied for university, but despite my results, I am not entirely sure if my seat is secure. Paperwork procedures and everything, it is quite a mess to explain, really. On a more positive note, my graduation from Republic Polytechnic is guaranteed, and the ceremony is next month, and I am surprised I managed to scrape up a 3.52 overall GPA despite setback
